CRIOLLO

Criollo Sauce

(salsa)

 

Instructions

In a Large Pujols Kitchen Sauté Pan, sauté the onions and garlic in olive oil until the onions are translucent.

 

Add tomatoes, chipotle pepper, honey, cilantro, and lime juice.

 

Cook for about 5 to 10 minutes over medium heat.

 

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

 

Serve over rice, or with fresh tortilla chips.

 

Ingredients

 

1 onion, sliced

 

2 cloves of garlic, smashed

 

2 tablespoons of olive oil

 

2 tomatoes, diced

 

½ tablespoon of chipotle pepper

 

2 tablespoons of honey

 

½ bunch of cilantro

 

Juice of 1 lime

 

Salt and pepper to taste
