Lots of us buy bacon in bulk at wholesale retailers. But what if you find the bacon spoils before you have a chance to consume it all? Consider freezing a portion of your bacon for BLTs, pastas and other sandwiches you’ll eat later. The best way to freeze bacon is to coil the slices up like snails and freeze on a baking sheet until solid. Then store them in zip-top bags and place the bags in your freezer. You can mince these bacon coils while still frozen, thaw, or microwave.
