(also known as Fried Malanga or Taro Root)
Peel the skin off the yautia and use a fine shredder to
prepare a masa.
Add the garlic salt to the yautia masa and incorporate well.
Heat the oil in a Small Pujols Kitchen Sauté Pan.
By the spoonful, place the masa into the hot oil to fry until
golden brown — about 5 minutes each side.
Makes a great snack or side with hot sauce. Enjoy!

1 or 2 yautia roots
¼ cup of vegetable oil
1 tablespoon of garlic salt
